At Lease Lane Containers LLC, we stand behind the quality of our shipping container inventory. To ensure a transparent experience for our customers, we have established the following policy in accordance with Google Merchant Center requirements.
1. 30-Day Return Window
We offer a 30-day return policy. You have thirty (30) days from the date your container is offloaded at your site to request a return or report a structural defect. To be eligible for a return, the container must be in the same condition as when it was delivered.
2. Return Method & Label
Return Method: Returns are accepted by mail (specialized freight transport).
Return Label: For “Change of Mind” returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping arrangements and costs. For defective or incorrect items, Lease Lane Containers LLC will handle all logistics and labels at no cost to the customer.
3. Conditions for Returns
We accept returns for both defective and non-defective (change of mind) products, provided the following conditions are met:
Condition: The unit must be in “New” or “As-Delivered” condition with no additional modifications, paint, or structural changes made by the customer.
Defective/Incorrect Units: If a unit has structural leaks (in Wind & Watertight units) or you receive the wrong size/grade, we will provide a mobile repair, exchange, or full refund.
Change of Mind: We accept returns for non-defective units within the 30-day window.
4. Restocking Fees & Return Costs
To maintain our flat-rate pricing model, the following fees apply:
Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all “Change of Mind” returns. This covers the specialized labor required to re-inspect and re-inventory the industrial equipment.
Return Shipping (Change of Mind): The customer is responsible for the return shipping fee of $170.00.
Defective Items: There are $0.00 restocking fees and $0.00 return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items.
5. Exchanges
We accept exchanges. If you decide you need a different size or grade after delivery, please contact us within the 30-day window. The customer will be responsible for the difference in product price and the return shipping fee of $170.00.
6. Refund Processing Time & Method
Once the container has been picked up and inspected at our yard:
Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout (Credit Card or PayPal).
Refund Timeline: We process all refunds within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card issuer may take an additional 3–5 days to post the credit to your account.
7. Refusal of Delivery
We highly recommend inspecting the unit while it is still on the trailer. If the unit does not meet the purchased grade standards, you may refuse the delivery before offloading. In this case, you will receive a 100% refund, including the initial $170 shipping fee.
